Oregon's Public Health System
The Oregon public health system comprises federal, state and local agencies, private organizations and other diverse partners working together to protect and promote the health of Oregonians. Oregon needs a strong public health system to achieve better health outcomes at lower costs and to transform health care delivery. Public health plays an important role in Oregon's health system transformation and Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs).
