New Laws In Effect January 1, 2012
The Center for Health Statistics is moving into the final steps of implementation for House Bills 3611 and 2380. House Bill 3611 requires the collection of combat status and location of combat on veterans' death records. Visit our death registration page for more information, instructions, and training.
House Bill 2380 pertains to births and fetal deaths where mothers delivered in a hospital after initially planning to deliver at home or in a freestanding birth center. Our birth registration and fetal death registration pages provide training and instructions.
