    Results by Year 1996 - 2016

More current annual data are available by requesting Oregon BRFSS data sets for analysis. The BRFSS team is also working to bring updated results to our webpage in the near future.

Age and gender results by topic for each year. Topics are in alphabetical order.

Starting with the 2010 Oregon survey, to ensure that responses to the survey are representative of the Oregon adult population, the data will be weighted by a new technique called “raking.” Differences in estimates between years are to be expected when survey methods change. Public health prevention programs, policy makers, and other BRFSS data analysts need to determine the best way to describe these changes.

The 2010 tables labeled “Preliminary” are weighted using the previous “classic” methods. Tables labeled “Final” are weighted using the new “raking” methods and include cell phone respondents.
