Oregon Health Authority provides local health departments with influenza reporting, investigation and prevention guidelines.

As part of CDC's Emerging Infections Program, Oregon's Acute and Communicable Disease Prevention Program (ACDP) conducts surveillance for influenza-associated hospitalizations in adults and children in the Portland-metro area (Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties). To report an influenza-associated hospitalization in these counties, please contact Matt Laidler at 971-673-1111 or Matthew.Laidler@state.or.us.
If you need additional guidance or have questions regarding an outbreak of respiratory illness or influenza, please call the on-call epidemiologist at ACDP at (971) 673-1111 for assistance.
