Rulemaking Actions
Drinking Water Services (DWS) is proposing to amend Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) related to public water systems. These amendments are necessary to improve the certification and renewal process for backflow testers, cross connection specialists, and water system operators; to improve rule clarity; and to increase the accountability of water system operators. Proposed Revisions
The proposed changes to OAR 333-061 are indicated in the following document:
Proposed additions are identified as red underlined text and proposed deletions are identified as red strikethrough text. Language being moved from one location to another within the rules is identifed as green text.

    Public Hearing & Comment Period
    If you wish to comment on these proposed rule revisions, you have the following options:
    • You may present oral testimony at the public hearing scheduled on 10:00 AM on January 22, 2014, at the Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, Oregon, Room 1B.
    • You may submit written comments, which must be received before 5:00 PM on January 24, 2014. Written comments can be submitted in the following ways:
