Accredited Training Courses

Oregon Health Authority maintains a list of training courses (pdf) for RRP as well as for Abatement and Inspection professionals. Class schedules are subject to change. This list may not include all training courses. Please contact provider directly for more information on pricing, course availability and scheduling.

Accredited Abatement, Inspection, and Risk Assessment Training Providers

There is currently only one accredited training provider in Oregon for lead-based paint activities - the Western Regional Lead Training Center. However, the Oregon Health Authority excepts abatement and inspection training certificates from EPA or any EPA authorized state or tribal program.

Accredited RRP Training Providers

Initial RRP training is 8-hour course that includes hands on training. Course participants receive a completion certificate valid for 5 years.

Refresher RRP training is 4 hours and is available for individuals whose 5-year RRP training certificate has not yet expired or for for those who have previously completed an eligible renovation training course. Please visit the EPA's eligible renovation training course web page for more information on eligible training courses.

Below is a list of accredited training providers that provide training for renovators under the RRP program. Some providers train individuals accross Oregon and throughout the country. Please contact the training provider directly for more information on pricing, course availability and scheduling. For a complete list of the EPA Accrediated RRP Training Providers [ Exit to EPA's Web site].
