National School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA)
The National School-Based Health Alliance is the national voice for school-based health centers. SBHA was build from the grassroots by individuals from state and federal government agencies, national and regional foundations, child health and education organizations, and SBHCs. SBHA advocates for national policies, programs, and funding to expand and strengthen SBHCs, while also supporting the movement with training and technical assistance.

The SBHA website provides information on advocacy and public policy, technical assistance and training, and evaluation and quality control information. There is also a listing of State SBHC associations, a resource listing, funding opportunities, and HIPAA resources.

 

The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools 
The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) is a nonpartisan policy and program resource center located at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.  CHHCS’s mission is to promote children’s health and school success by advancing school connected programs, policies and systems.

The CHHCS website provides tools and resources on SBHCs, school mental health, school-based oral health, and school health services.

 

Oregon School-Based Health Alliance (OSBHA)
The Oregon School-Based Health Alliance (OSBHA) is the Oregon chapter of the National School-Base Health Alliance. This statewide membership of individuals and organizations work together to advocate for the health care needs of Oregon's school-aged children.

The OSBHA website provides resources and news on SBHC-related policy in Oregon, as well as tools and resources for operating a school-based health center.

 

Oregon Health Authority – Addictions and Mental Health Services
OHA Addictions and Mental Health are improving mental health services to children by involving parents and youth in decisions, delivering more children’s mental health services in the community, improving inter-agency cooperation and acknowledging the child’s language and cultural heritage. OHA and other child-serving agencies are developing a system of care utilizing a wraparound model.

 

Healthy Kids Learn Better Coalition
Healthy Kids Learn Better Coalition is a statewide partnership of organizations and individuals working collectively to promote policies and programs that will reduce physical, social, and emotional barriers to learning.  HKLB Coalition engages in policy advocacy to support the health and well-being of kids, youth, and schools.

 

The Dental Foundation of Oregon
The Dental Foundation of Oregon works to improve the oral health of Oregon’s under-served children through advocacy, community grants to non-profit dental clinics and by taking dental care and oral health education directly to children on the Tooth Taxi mobile dental van.

Oregon Primary Care Association
OPCA is a non-profit membership association, representing Oregon’s 32 community health centers (FQHCs) and those who support them.  OPCA provides training and technical assistants for its members and partners, sharing the latest ideas, expert advice, and proven techniques for keeping patients healthy.
