Collection	Actively growing isolated organism, in pure culture, on an agar slant or plate media, or swab specimen from urethra, cervix, pharynx, rectum, conjunctiva or other affected body site.

Handling	Seal tube or plate and place isolate or swab into biohazard bag. Transport to lab within 24 hours of collection. Do not freeze. Submit specimen according to Infectious Substance Shipping Guidelines.
Transport	Room temperature or wet ice.
