Facilities Planning and Safety provides review of plans, consultation and project inspector services for facilities to be licensed and/or certified by OHA, Public Health or DHS Senior Services. These include all public and private general hospitals, nursing homes, residential care and assisted living facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, mental hospitals, dialysis facilities, special inpatient care facilities, hospice facilities and birthing centers.
The Facilities Planning and Safety Program is part of the Health Care Regulation and Quality Improvement Program in the Center for Health Protection. Read More Mission
