The Public Pool and Tourist Facility Program works in partnership with local health departments, the recreation and tourist industry and the public to reduce the risk of waterborne illness and injury at public facilities. About UsThe Food, Pool and Lodging Health and Safety Section protects the health and safety of the public by establishing operational and regulatory standards for the food service, pool and spa, and tourist accommodation industries. The section provides consultation on environmental health issues for various institutions and government agencies and offers information to the general public on environmental health and sanitation issues.
