Child Care Health Consultation Program 2003-2010
The Public Health Division's Healthy Child Care Oregon program administered the Child Care Health Consultation (CCHC) Program from March 2003 to July 2010 with partners from the health and mental health systems, and the early care and education system. Health and mental health consultation services were provided for child care providers in Baker, Union, Clackamas, Lincoln and Multnomah counties.
The CCHC program demonstrated promising results and plans were developed for statewide expansion. However, the program was discontinued in 2010 due to budgetary cut-backs during the recession.
