Food, Pool and Lodging Health and Safety Section 

The Food, Pool and Lodging Health and Safety Section protects the health and safety of the public by establishing operational and regulatory standards for the food service, pools and spas, and tourist accommodations industries, providing consultation on environmental health issues for various institutions and government agencies and providing information to the general public on environmental health and sanitation issues.

Public Pool and Tourist Facility Program
This program has a long history of setting standards for public swimming pools and spas to control potential disease transmission and eliminate injuries and accidents.
Foodborne Illness Prevention Program
Our goal is to work in partnership with local health departments, the food service industry, and the public to reduce or eliminate the known causes of foodborne illness.
