The Food, Pool and Lodging Health and Safety Section protects the health and safety of the public by establishing operational and regulatory standards for the food service, pools and spas, and tourist accommodations industries, providing consultation on environmental health issues for various institutions and government agencies and providing information to the general public on environmental health and sanitation issues.
Mission: Implement and maintain intervention or regulatory strategies to prevent illness and injury as a result of patronage of food, pool & lodging facilities.
