Office of Family Health

The Office of Family Health administers programs aimed at improving the overall health of Oregon's women, infants, and children through preventive health programs and services. Major activities include developing public health systems and services that improve both quality of and access to health care; working with public and private agencies to improve health outcomes; and promoting culturally sensitive services.

We are collecting and sharing data to assess the health of women, children and families and develop and implement public health policy based on these data. Our goal is to ensure the availability, quality and accessibility of health services, health promotion and health education, and reduce or elimnate health disparities. We also provide technical assistance, consultation and resources to local health departments and other community partners.
