Additional updates
EMSC is collaborating with OHSU on NIH EMS Safety Event Study.
EMSC distributed pedi pulse oximeters and lower extremity splints to 16 agencies.
The Training Unit continued work on the EMT-I education revision including development of course competencies, drafting educational standards and selecting topics for the instructional guidelines.
Training and Education provided:
- Webinar classes for rural EMT-Intermediate course in Chiloquin;
- Paisley and Junction City Webinar courses;
- Skills courses in Shady Cove and Talent;
- State representative on call for 21 EMS provider practical exams;
- Pediatric trainings with EMS MTU in Roseburg, Redmond.
