    LINCOLN COUNTY –Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner -Newport, OR

    MORROW COUNTY – PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE   – Morrow County Health Department – Heppner, OR 
    There are currently two Full Time Nursing positions open at Morrow County. Both positions are associated with Maternal Child Health and the delivery of Home Visiting services. This includes assessment, screening, developing care plans, implementing best-practice interventions and evaluating the success of the treatment plan. The nurse supports families by making referrals to the community, teaching about health concerns, supporting behavior changes and implementing population-based public health measures. One of the positions will be trained in the Nurse Family Partnership program providing services through an exciting collaboration with the Umatilla County Health Department. Current Oregon RN license and driver’s license required. BSN preferred. Public health or related experience may be substituted for degree. Bilingual (Spanish) preference.

    Also serves as the Oregon State Refugee Coordinator.  Acts as liaison between community resettlement programs, Centers for Disease Control, and the State of Oregon.

    POLK COUNTY – Correctional Health Nurse – Polk County Public Health – Dallas, OR
    This position:   Performs a variety of nursing duties and medical services directly related to patient care of inmates in the Polk County Correctional Facility. Reviews intake screening, performs physical assessments, evaluates inmates,  places and reads TB tests, and answers requests for medical concerns from inmates.
