We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated registered nurse to join our team. The Registered Nurse Care Coordinator provides case management, health education, nursing assessment, patient triage, and medication counseling to patients within the primary care home and may provide some services in public health.

BENTON COUNTY – Public Health Data Analyst - Epidemiologist – Benton County – Corvallis, OR  
This position serves as primary technical resource for planning, developing, collecting, managing, and analyzing population health data to inform and improve programs and policies. Collaborates with internal and community partners to educate and facilitate the use of data to improve the public’s health. Supports epidemiologic investigations used in the prevention and control of disease and foodborne outbreaks. DESCHUTES COUNTY – Nurse – Corrections – Bend, OR
This position performs professional nursing duties in a correctional facility. Incumbent is responsible for physical assessments, verification of medication and treatment, TB testing, documentation of medical care, scheduling and conducting sick calls. Duties include communicating with medical, mental health, and public health communities, alcohol and or drug detoxification, administering medications, scheduling out-of-facility physician and dental appointments, maintaining statistics, and resolving medical bills.  Deschutes County only accepts online applications.

Shifts may vary. May be required to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

    MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Deputy Medical Director – Corrections Health - Portland, OR
    The Deputy Medical Director will direct, manage, organize and evaluate the activities of Corrections Health within the Health Department.  This position requires the application of technical knowledge in the specialized field of Corrections Health, including utilizing medical, nursing, public health, corrections and management knowledge and skills to direct the program, thereby assuring clients receive care at the community standard. The Deputy Medical Director must possess initiative and judgment in anticipating and determining proactive strategic directions in an evolving medical and corrections environment, while upholding fiscal and legal parameters, along with program guidelines and policies. Collaboration, coordination and maintaining excellent working relationships are required. Collaboration and coordination is crucial especially with all levels within Corrections Health, as well as other county divisions: Health Department Integrated Clinical Services, Sheriff's Office, Department of Community Justice, Attorney's Office, District Attorney's Office, county courts and other community partners.
