linn county – Nurse Practitioner – Linn County Department of Health Services – Lebanon, OR

This is a part-time position (15 hrs/wk) for a Nurse Practitioner in a Public Health setting.  Performs and provides preventative services, medical care, client evaluation and assessments, and treatment interventions to clients enrolled in Public Health Services’ Reproductive Health program.  Will be primarily based in our Lebanon clinic but occasionally may be assigned to our Albany clinic.

YAMhill County – Health Officer – Yamhill County Public Health McMinnville, OR

Yamhill County Health & Human Services is seeking applicants to join our Public Health Team. The Health Officer provides medical direction for clinic services including direct consultation regarding individual public health cases, developing and signing standing orders and protocols, assisting in the design and development of public health programs and operations, and providing ongoing liaison to and communication with members of the medical provider community. The Health Officer is responsible for bringing the public health physician perspective to public health management and influencing the department’s policies, priorities, and operational and developmental strategies for all programs.

Qualifications:  This position is required to hold an active license in the State of Oregon as an MD or DO, and have practiced for two years as a licensed physician after an internship and/or residency. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in the public health arena and have training or experience in epidemiology and public health. The candidate would have the ability to work well with an array of Public Health and Health and Human Services staff as well as community members and community partners.
