Full-time Environmental Health Supervisor to administer and supervise the department’s Environmental Health Program.  Responsible for administration and supervision of environmental health programs pursuant to contract with the Oregon Health Authority in maintaining and improving environmental health services through public health programs.  Must be a registered Environmental Health Specialist in accordance with ORS 700.

COOS COUNTY – Nurse Practitioner – Coos County Health Dept. – Coos Bay, OR

    LANE COUNTY – Nurse Practitioner – Community Health Centers of Lane County – Eugene/Springfield, OR

    MORROW COUNTY – Public Health Nurse – Morrow County Health Department – Heppner, OR 
    There are currently two Full Time Nursing positions open at Morrow County. Both positions are associated with Maternal Child Health and the delivery of Home Visiting services. This includes assessment, screening, developing care plans, implementing best-practice interventions and evaluating the success of the treatment plan. The nurse supports families by making referrals to the community, teaching about health concerns, supporting behavior changes and implementing population-based public health measures. One of the positions will be trained in the Nurse Family Partnership program providing services through an exciting collaboration with the Umatilla County Health Department. Current Oregon RN license and driver’s license required. BSN preferred. Public health or related experience may be substituted for degree. Bilingual (Spanish) preference.

    The Director of Nursing Practice is a member of the department’s leadership team and participates in developing and carrying out the department’s strategic plan. The Director of Nursing Practice serves as an expert resource to the Health Department nursing workforce on scope and clinical practice. The Director of Nursing Practice collaborates with the leadership of Public Health and Integrated Clinical Services to support quality nursing practices across the Health Department. This position participates in setting the vision for public health in the county, and represents the Health Department locally and nationally as the nursing expert for Multnomah County.

    This recruitment is for a 1.0 FTE CHN in the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Program and for a 1.0 FTE CHN in the Health Birth Initiative (HBI) Program. Both positions have a Knowledge, Skills and Ability requirement with an African American Community Focus.

    The NFP CHN provides comprehensive prenatal, postpartum and child health assessments primarily within the African American community using the best practices Nurse Family Partnership model. The HBI CHN provides services to pregnant and parenting families primarily within the African American community, including comprehensive prenatal, post partum, and child health assessments.
