333-003 Rule Making Process 2012

During the 2011 legislative session, the Oregon Legislature passed Senate Bill 563. The Bill affects Oregon Administrative Rules 333-003 and allows previously licensed, certified or otherwise authorized health care providers to register as emergency health care providers and to provide health care services without license or certification during Governor-declared emergency. It also authorizes Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to deploy volunteers across state lines through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact  (EMAC) and Pacific Northwest Emergency Management Agreement (PNEMA).  In the fall of 2011, a Rules Advisory Committee was formed and OHA has now submitted proposed rules. Currently, there is a public hearing process in place and you are invited to review the proposed rules and to comment on them. Please find the following documents for your reference.
