Child Safety Seats

  • Child Safety Seat Resource Center: provides information and technical assistance to the public, including child car seat training and check-up clinics, information on laws and recalls, a shopping guide, posters and brochures. Call 503-643-5620 in Portland, or 1-877-793-2608.
  • ACTS Oregon: The Alliance for Community Traffic Safety in Oregon (ACTS Oregon) is a private 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization committed to child passenger safety, community traffic safety, and the promotion of networking and education at the annual Oregon Transportation Safety Conference. Crib Safety

  • As of July 6, 2001, it is illegal in Oregon for anyone to sell a crib at a garage sale, estate sale, or secondhand store that does not meet the safety standards established in HB 3962. For Oregon  Infant Crib Statute, see ORS 646A.500.
