Introduction
The Oregon Indoor Clean Air Act (ICAA) protects workers and the public from secondhand smoke at work and in public places. House Bill 2726 amended the ICAA as of June 30, 2011. The law includes a mandate to the Oregon Health Authority to promulgate new rules to implement the new provisions.
The Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, has amended the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) to implement HB 2726 and improve administration of the ICAA.

A public hearing was held on January 17, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Portland State Office Building in Room 1A.
