Guidelines

OPIC operates according to By-Laws. In addition, the coalition uses a strategic planning process and annual workplans to achieve strategic communication, networking and public policy goals. OPIC's strategic plans link the coalition's strategic directions to those of the Oregon Health Authority Immunization Program.

OPIC promotes the use of:

  • Science-based immunization information
  • Immunization ALERT, Oregon's award-winning childhood immunization registry
  • The Vaccines for Children Program
  • AFIX, a quality assurance process for providers

Leadership

An experienced Executive Committee provides overall leadership for the statewide coalition.

Benefits of Participating in OPIC's Network

  • Access to up-to-date science-based information about immunizations
  • Opportunities throughout the year to:
    • learn more about current and emerging childhood and adolescent immunization issues concerning vaccine-preventable diseases and related topics
    • network and share information
