The recent National Report Card on the State of Emergency Medicine, published by the American College of Emergency Physicians, clearly demonstrates the need for our state to seriously assess and make improvements to its system for providing emergency health care services.

To accomplish this task, the Emergency Health Care Task Force (EHCTF) was created to include a multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders interested in emergency care.
