CLACKAMAS COUNTY – Part time – job share Public Health Dietitian – Clackamas County Public Health, Oregon City, OR
The Public Health Dietitian in this position provides direct service to participants in the Women Infants and Children(WIC) Program including; professional level nutrition assessment, counseling, and education. Additionally, this position participates in coordination of care of nutritionally high risk participants with medical providers, Public Health Nurses and other providers. The Public Health Dietitian also serves as a nutrition and program technical resource and mentor to the WIC Programs Nutrition Assistants and the Public Health Division staff. The Dietitian will provide input and leadership in the development and evaluation of nutrition education materials, programs and services. The position may expand to include other public health nutrition assessment and education duties.

CLATSOP COUNTY – Environmental Health Supervisor – Clatsop County Public Health Department – Astoria, OR
Full-time Environmental Health Supervisor to administer and supervise the department’s Environmental Health Program.  Responsible for administration and supervision of environmental health programs pursuant to contract with the Oregon Health Authority in maintaining and improving environmental health services through public health programs.  Must be a registered Environmental Health Specialist in accordance with ORS 700.

COOS COUNTY – Nurse Practitioner – Coos County Health Dept. – Coos Bay, OR

    Provide professional, advanced practice nursing care to family planning clients and underserved women past child bearing years. Diagnose and treat women and men with STDs.     MORROW COUNTY – PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE   – Morrow County Health Department – Heppner, OR 
    There are currently two Full Time Nursing positions open at Morrow County. Both positions are associated with Maternal Child Health and the delivery of Home Visiting services. This includes assessment, screening, developing care plans, implementing best-practice interventions and evaluating the success of the treatment plan. The nurse supports families by making referrals to the community, teaching about health concerns, supporting behavior changes and implementing population-based public health measures. One of the positions will be trained in the Nurse Family Partnership program providing services through an exciting collaboration with the Umatilla County Health Department. Current Oregon RN license and driver’s license required. BSN preferred. Public health or related experience may be substituted for degree. Bilingual (Spanish) preference.

    POLK COUNTY – Correctional Health Nurse – Polk County Public Health – Dallas, OR
    This position:   Performs a variety of nursing duties and medical services directly related to patient care of inmates in the Polk County Correctional Facility. Reviews intake screening, performs physical assessments, evaluates inmates,  places and reads TB tests, and answers requests for medical concerns from inmates.     UMATILLA COUNTY – DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH – Umatilla County Public Health – Pendleton, OR
