 OSPHL Fee Changes

OSPHL fees for certain lab tests will change March 1, 2014. Effective date begins with the date of collection starting March 1, 2014.

The Oregon State Public Health Laboratory (OSPHL) has been actively protecting the public's health since 1903 by supporting state and local infectious disease control efforts, preventing metabolic disorders detectable at birth, and assuring the quality of testing in clinical and environmental laboratories.

Requirements and procedures for laboratories, health care providers and partners who are submitting samples for testing.
Find out about screening newborns for rare but serious health problems like Cystic Fibrosis and other metabolic conditions.
Training and support for sentinel laboratories.
Accredits environmental testing laboratories in Oregon and throughout the country to national standards.
Clinical laboratory regulations are enforced by the Oregon Laboratory Compliance Section.
