    LANE COUNTY – Public Health Nursing Supervisor – Public Health/Maternal Child Health – Eugene, OR

    MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Manager Senior (Nursing) Corrections Health– Portland, OR
    This is a .6 to .8 Full Time Equivalent (part to full-time) position.  Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience. The Manager Senior (Nursing) will supervise the two Program Manager II nursing positions and the nursing staff at the Juvenile Detention Hall in Corrections Health.  This position is the key leader of the clinics with highly acute clients based in a correctional setting.   As Manager Senior (Nursing) you will: Plan, organize, direct, administer and evaluate clinical nursing health services, policies and operations for three corrections clinics. Provide leadership in developing, implementing and analyzing agency wide initiatives and policies.

    MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Community Health Nurse – Healthy Birth Initiatives – Multnomah County Health Department – Portland, OR
    The HBI CHN provides services to pregnant and parenting families primarily within the African American community, including comprehensive prenatal, post partum, and child health assessments. They collect family data to assist in identifying biophyschosocial needs which impacts optimum health. Screenings are provided to identify developmental problems. Based on information collected, a plan is made with the family to improve health outcomes. The CHN advocates for the client and family to improve access to resources and health care. Interventions include screening, health teaching, care management, advocacy and counseling. The CHN also communicates and coordinates care with other agencies and providers as appropriate. Services may be provided to individuals or to groups.

    Washington County's Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting for a Public Health Program Supervisor to oversee the work of our communicable disease prevention team.     WASHINGTON COUNTY - Community Health Nurse II – Maternal Child Health - Washington County Health & Human Services - Public Health – Hillsboro, OR
    Washington County is recruiting for a Community Health Nurse II Maternal and Child Health. Provide services to pregnant and parenting mothers, families, infants and children, through home visiting. Duties include weighing and measuring infants, performing developmental screens on infants and children, hearing and vision screening on infants and children, assessing needs for community resources, coordinating care with primary care providers and other providers in the community, providing health literacy and parenting education on preventative health care, immunizations, follow up and more.
