This position performs health promotion and disease prevention activities under the direction of the Public Health Director including community assessment, program planning, mobilization, implementation and evaluation of program effectiveness. Plans, implements and evaluates the educational components of the Tobacco Prevention and Healthy Communities programs as assigned. Researches, develops, and monitors grants that address tobacco prevention and related health problems. Develops and implements policy systems and strategies that focus on key risk factors that contribute to chronic disease. Fosters collaborative partnerships between health systems, school, business, public health, and community sectors to implement improvements intended to make the healthy choice the easier choice.

COOS COUNTY – Home Visiting Public Health Nurse 1 – Coos Health & Wellness – North Bend, OR

DESCHUTES COUNTY– Behavioral Health Specialist II – Adult Outpatient  – Bend, OR

Deschutes County is currently accepting applications for two Behavioral Health Specialist II's - Adult Outpatient Team, located in Redmond. Incumbents will provide outpatient and intensive services to a diverse group, including adults, children and families. This includes individuals with a variety of diagnoses; anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bi-polar disorder and psychosis.  Clinicians will utilize a variety of evidenced-based treatment models.  A portion of the incumbent's time will also be providing in-depth behavioral health bio-psycho-social assessments utilizing DSM 5 diagnoses for individuals seeking mental health and addiction services.  In addition to being skilled at providing individual counseling, the incumbents should also be able to provide case management services and lead therapy groups each week. Successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

DESCHUTES COUNTY – Psychiatrist – Bend, OR

MARION COUNTY – Health Team Supervisor – Public Health Nursing – Marion County Health Department, Salem, OR

MCHD has an interest in developing a nurse manager with an interest in leadership and a passion for public health. MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Mental Health Consultant - Adult Protective Service Screener/Investigator - Health Department - Portland, OR

MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Nursing Supervisor, Rockwood Health Center – Multnomah County Public Health – Portland, OR

Under the direction of the clinic manager, this position manages, directs, organizes, and evaluates the nursing and clinical interventions, and community health activities within the clinic. This nursing supervisor provides guidance and supervision to nursing and related staff regarding nursing and clinical practice issues. YAMHILL COUNTY - HS Specialist I / QMHA - Family and Youth Program - Wrap-around Facilitator - McMinnville, OR
 This is a regular full-time position to provide facilitation of services for at-risk youth, families, and community partners by participating in meetings and case management in family homes, community agencies, County offices, and schools. Primary duties involve working with youth who are involved in the criminal justice system, those who have drug/alcohol issues, or who are at-risk for multiple agency involvement.  A Bachelor’s degree in a social services field and at least 1 year of experience are required in addition to the ability to obtain certification as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). An appropriate combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree. Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred. Must pass a criminal background check.

YAMHILL COUNTY – HS Specialist II – Yamhill County Adult Behavioral Health – McMinnville, OR

This is a regular full-time position for a general outpatient therapist to perform a variety of tasks consistent with the experience and abilities of the individual client including, but not limited to: therapy, care coordination, crisis contacts, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and skills training, both within the clinic and in the community. Scheduled hours may include Saturday shift assignments. Duties will include providing or participating in consultation, in-service training and education programs, participating in program planning and development, assisting in quality assurance activities, maintaining client records, and other administrative tasks and related work as required by the program supervisor. The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or a related field and at least one year of work experience or Master’s level intern experience in a setting relevant to the duties and skills noted above.
